Clean by Nature grew from the experience of its owner, Teresa Blazaitis. It is the culmination of her experience in customer service, marketing and cleaning. Recognizing the unmet demand for environmentally-friendly cleaning, Teresa researched available products and services. She was able to locate a plethora of products, but unable to find another local company that offered such services.

During her search, Teresa was introduced to the Shaklee Company by Mark Alan, a member of the Business Networking International group in Champaign-Urbana. Learning the stringent standards of Shaklee's ingredients, and using the products herself, she concluded her search. Seeing a clear path to providing environmentally-friendly cleaning service products in the Champaign-Urbana area, Teresa started Clean by Nature.

The demand for Clean by Nature's services has quickly grown. The strong response can be attributed to the Champaign-Urbana metropolitan area's affluent and highly-educated populace.

Champaign County includes a substantial number of two-income households, especially with small children. They are seeking a safe alternative to standard residential cleaning services. Small businesses, with concern for the environment, currently have not been able to find an alternative to the major commercial services. Clean by Nature of East Central Illinois is the first.

Products offered will include specific items such as organic super cleaning concentrate safe for most surfaces, a hand wash concentrate and a germicide for powerful cleaning solutions. We will also provide micro fiber cleaning cloths, window cloths and scrubbing pads for optimum results.
